Comparison of four different temperature control strategies influencing indoor air relative humidity
Chen Yingjie, Zheng Qinghong
Compares the part-load dehumidification performances of four temperature control strategies, namely, constant air rate and variable chilled water flow control, variable air rate and chilled water flow control, by-pass variable air rate control, and secondary return air control. Simulation results show that the first method is rather poor in dehumidification capacity under part-load condition, and the indoor relative humidity is always over high, the third method has higher dehumidification capacity, the second method has poorer dehumidification capacity under the condition of constant latent heat with variable sensible heat and higher dehumidification capacity under the condition of variable latent and sensible heat, the fourth method has poorer dehumidification capacity only under lower sensible heat ratio.
